Logie has a new way of expressing his affection for Dane. This involves tackling Dane, pinning him to the ground and smothering him with death-grip "hugs." Needless to say, Dane is not so happy about Logie's demonstrative ways. Not helping the matter is the fact that Dane has entered into a toddler angst phase. Oh, the woes of being 16 months old! Dane has taken to screaming fits. Oddly, he seems to be fixated on the bookcase that holds our DVD's. When he is in the throes of his despair, he wails while looking up at the DVD's and even desperately clutches at the bookcase as if it holds the solution to his unhappiness. We've tried letting him pick out DVD's, but this only offers momentary solace. Poor Danie! It's not so fun for mommy and daddy either. We're looking forward to the time when Dane outgrows this phase. Our pediatrician thinks he's just entered the Terrible Two's early. Does this mean he may outgrow the Terrible Two's before he actually turns two? Let's hope so.
