The boys are turning three on Thursday and my hopes that three would be the "holy grail" of ages have been dashed. Everyone is now telling me that the three's are even worse than the two's for boys. I'm not sure how that's humanly possible, but we shall see. We were at Chick Fi Le on Saturday and there was a family with a six-year-old girl and four-year-old twin boys. Their boys were rough-housing in that manic twin fashion that I recognize so well. The father told me that it's only going to get worse for us as the boys get older. Thanks dude. Here's a video of Dane's response to the question "How old are you going to be?"
That's a smart answer... I'll have to start using that once when people ask me my age. "October 9th!"
